IGERT Partners

We have targeted two universities with which we plan to have strong interactions: the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and Alabama A&M university (where about one half of the faculty members are interested in photonics). Our collaborator at UTEP is Prof. Felicia Manciu in the Physics Department and at Alabama A&M it is Prof. Matthew Edwards. One component of this interaction will be a summer research program for students from these two universities here at Northwestern in addition to mutual faculty and graduate student visits and joint research efforts.
