"Transferring information between atoms via an optical cavity"

Using the well known Pellizari scheme, it is possible for information that is kept in one atom to be transferred to another atom as they interact with the same cavity. I will start with a simple picture and ultimately show how this would be possible with ensembles of trapped atoms.
